ITN and Evening Standard coverage

Article text
Monday the 19th of January started off quite quietly but by the end of the day I had given an interview to ITN news and negotiated with the picture editor of the London Evening Standard for usage of two of my photographs.

It all started when I photographed a Grey seal that had made it up the Thames to the non tidal stretch above Teddington Lock. He/she was quite healthy and lock keepers think it arrived after chasing fish over the weir. It became something of a local attraction for the week it was here and I was lucky enough to manage to photograph it on Sunday. Here is a link to my 'Demotix' article. I 'tweeted' a few images that went viral and were then 'retweeted' numerous times.

This is page 6 of the London Evening Standard (second edition) on Monday.
